Burlington, MA (June 6, 2025) — A serious collision between a commercial vehicle and a tractor-trailer early Thursday morning left one driver hospitalized and debris strewn across Interstate 95, according to Massachusetts State Police.
Incident Details: The crash occurred around 6:30 a.m. at the Route 3 and I-95 interchange in Burlington. Authorities say the impact caused several large metal plates from the tractor-trailer’s load to scatter across both sides of the highway, blocking multiple travel lanes.
The driver of the car involved in the crash sustained serious injuries and was transported to Lahey Hospital. The tractor-trailer driver’s condition has not been disclosed, and authorities have not released the names of those involved.
