Folsom, CA (May 28, 2025) — A 20-year-old man was tragically killed early Wednesday morning in a two-vehicle collision in Folsom. The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim as Braiden David Flynn, a local resident.
Incident Details: The crash occurred around 12:45 a.m. at the intersection of Golf Links Drive and East Natoma Street. According to the Folsom Police Department, officers arrived to find Flynn unconscious and not breathing. Despite life-saving efforts at the scene, he was pronounced dead. The other driver remained on site and reportedly cooperated with the investigation. No arrests have been made at this time.
Investigation and Legal Considerations: Authorities have not yet disclosed what led to the crash, and investigators are continuing to examine whether factors such as speed, distraction, or vehicle malfunction may have contributed. They will also look into right-of-way violations, visibility issues, or potential reckless driving.
Pending the outcome of the investigation, the Flynn family may be entitled to file a wrongful death claim to help offset the emotional and financial toll, including funeral costs, lost future earnings, and pain and suffering.
