Talladega County, AL (June 10, 2025) – A fatal collision occurred Monday evening when 29-year-old Benjamin A. Ricks of Eastaboga was killed in a head-on crash involving a tractor-trailer.
Incident Details: Ricks was driving a 2020 Jeep Renegade when it collided head-on with a 2020 Freightliner tractor-trailer around 7:35 p.m. on Alabama 21 near mile marker 241, just south of Munford. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigation and Legal Considerations: The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division is currently investigating the crash. No further details have been released at this time.
