SOUTH LOS ANGELES, CA (November 11, 2025) — A heartbroken family is seeking justice after their loved one was struck and killed in a South Los Angeles hit-and-run motorcycle crash last month. The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed the victim was Ernest Delce.
Accident Details: The Los Angeles Police Department reported that the collision happened around 3 a.m. on October 12 near 92nd Street and South Broadway. Officers responded to reports of a motorcycle down and found the rider dead at the scene.
LAPD confirmed that a call for a hit-and-run at that location and date was logged in its system. Footage obtained by KTLA shows the aftermath of the crash, with police tape blocking the intersection and a heavily damaged motorcycle lying in the roadway.
Family members can be seen in the footage crying and embracing each other on the sidewalk as they realized their loved one was the victim. Others stood nearby, visibly shaken, as police officers and bystanders kept a respectful distance behind the caution tape. The emotional scene unfolded just steps away from a nearby car club event that was taking place when the crash occurred.
