El Paso, TX (August 27, 2025) – A semi-truck crash involving multiple vehicles shut down I-10 eastbound at Yarbrough Drive Wednesday morning, leaving one person seriously injured.
Accident Details: According to the El Paso Police Department, the crash happened around 10:56 a.m. on I-10 at Lomaland Drive and involved a semi-truck and six other vehicles. Emergency responders confirmed that one person sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital. Five others suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene. All lanes of I-10 eastbound at Yarbrough and Gateway East at Lafayette Drive were closed while crews cleared the roadway.
Investigation: The El Paso Police Department, with assistance from the El Paso Fire Department, is investigating the cause of the crash. Authorities are reviewing traffic conditions, driver behavior, and possible contributing factors that led to the multi-vehicle collision.
