Copperopolis, CA (August 8, 2025) — A three-vehicle crash at Milton Road and Highway 4 sent two people to the hospital Friday afternoon, one with serious injuries, according to local officials.
Incident Details: The collision occurred around noon when three vehicles collided at the intersection of Milton Road and Highway 4. Stanislaus County sheriff’s deputies arrived to find one vehicle with significant damage and the driver still inside, though not pinned. Emergency crews provided Advanced Life Support before the patient was airlifted to a local hospital due to the severity of their injuries. A second patient was transported by Oak Valley Ambulance to Memorial Hospital with minor injuries, while the third driver was uninjured.
Investigation and Legal Considerations: The California Highway Patrol’s Modesto office is investigating the cause of the crash. Factors under review include driver behavior, possible impairment, vehicle condition, and roadway conditions at the time of the collision. Those injured in multi-vehicle crashes may be eligible to pursue claims for medical costs, lost wages, and other damages.
