Oildale, CA (May 21, 2025) – A high-speed crash in Oildale on Tuesday afternoon resulted in injuries to both a child and an adult when their SUV was struck by another vehicle.
Incident Details: The collision occurred around 3:00 p.m. near the intersection of Norris Road and McCray Street. According to witnesses and the California Highway Patrol, a white sedan traveling at a high rate of speed ran a stop sign and crashed into a black SUV carrying a woman and a child. The impact caused significant damage to the SUV, which came to rest near the intersection. Both occupants of the SUV sustained injuries; the adult female suffered moderate injuries while the child was reported to have minor injuries. Both were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
