Incident Details: The collision occurred as Bentley was traveling with his mother, Mykyla, and several other children through Muskogee on Christmas Day. Police said the family’s vehicle was stopped at a red light when a semi-truck driven by Francisco Ramirez crashed into the rear of their car. Bentley sustained catastrophic injuries and was airlifted to a Tulsa hospital for emergency treatment.
According to his parents, Bentley suffered a brain bleed, multiple skull fractures, and a tear in an artery. He currently has no movement on the left side of his body, and doctors have told the family that recovery could take months or even years.
