Pedestrian and Dog Injured in Atherton Collision

Atherton, CA (August 12, 2025) – A pedestrian and their dog were injured Tuesday morning after being struck by a vehicle in Atherton.

Incident Details: According to the Atherton Police Department, the crash occurred around 8:21 a.m. at the intersection of Ravenswood Avenue and Laurel Street. The pedestrian sustained injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment. The dog was also injured and taken to a veterinary clinic. Authorities have not released details on the severity of the injuries to either.

Investigation: Police are investigating the cause of the collision, including the driver’s actions before impact. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with officers.
