Anthony St. John Killed in Motorcycle Crash with Lexus in San Diego

San Diego, CA (April 19, 2025) – A 26-year-old motorcyclist, Anthony Lee St. John, was killed Friday evening after a crash with a Lexus sedan in San Diego’s Palm City neighborhood.

Incident Details: The collision occurred around 5:30 p.m. in the 300 block of Palm Avenue. According to the San Diego Police Department, St. John was riding his 2017 Kawasaki motorcycle westbound on Palm Avenue when a 24-year-old woman driving a 2008 Lexus ES350 attempted to make a U-turn and crossed into his path. The motorcycle collided with the front passenger side of the Lexus, throwing St. John from the bike. Emergency crews responded, but St. John died at the scene.

Investigation and Legal Considerations: Authorities are continuing to investigate the crash, including whether the driver’s U-turn was conducted safely and legally. At this time, police do not suspect drugs or alcohol were involved. Traffic investigators will likely examine visibility, road conditions, and speed to determine fault.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to Anthony St. John’s family and friends during this time of loss.
