Fremont, CA (January 12, 2026) – Authorities have identified Andrew Barret Mackenzie, 49, of San Jose as the victim motorcyclist who was killed in a crash with a pickup truck in Fremont on Monday, January 12, 2026.
Incident Details: According to the Fremont Police Department (FPD), officers responded around 3:09 p.m. to a major injury collision at the intersection of Cushing Parkway and Northport Loop. The crash was between a pickup truck and Mackenzie’s motorcycle.
Mackenzie sustained major injuries and was taken to a local hospital. He died an hour later. The driver of the pickup truck was not injured in the crash and remained at the scene to assist investigators.
