Pedestrian Injured, Lindsey Bigbey and Nathan Robson Arrested After Road Rage Hit-and-Run in Vista

Vista, CA (August 24, 2025) – A pedestrian was seriously injured in a violent road rage crash that led to the arrest of two people in Vista last weekend.

Accident Details: According to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred Sunday near Calle Jules and Via Felicidad. Authorities say the driver of a Toyota Sequoia was aggressively pursuing a Jeep Cherokee through a residential neighborhood when the Sequoia struck a pedestrian and several parked vehicles.

The Sequoia then collided head-on with another car and became disabled. The driver of the Sequoia allegedly left her vehicle and entered the passenger side of the Jeep she had been chasing. Both suspects fled the scene together. The pedestrian was transported to a hospital with major injuries, and several vehicles sustained significant damage.

Investigation: Deputies later located and arrested the suspects Wednesday in the 2600 block of East Mission Bay Drive in San Diego. The drivers were identified as 41-year-old Lindsey Bigbey, who was behind the wheel of the Sequoia, and 42-year-old Nathan Robson, who was driving the Jeep Cherokee. Both were booked into the Vista Detention Facility on multiple felony charges, including hit-and-run, assault with a deadly weapon, and aiding and abetting.

I extend my sympathy to the injured pedestrian and hope for a full recovery.
