American Township, OH (August 5, 2025) — Two people were injured and hospitalized Tuesday morning following a crash between a car and a semi-truck at the intersection of Conant and Zion Church Road in Allen County.
Incident Details: Emergency crews with the American Township Fire Department responded to the scene around 8:30 a.m. Both occupants of the car were transported to a local hospital with injuries. The semi-truck driver was not hurt in the crash. The Ohio State Highway Patrol has taken over the investigation and has not yet released details about the cause of the collision or the condition of those injured.
Investigation and Legal Considerations: Authorities continue to investigate and will likely examine factors such as failure to yield, driver distraction, brake function, and visibility at the intersection.
