Three Killed, Three Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 70 in Marysville

Marysville, CA (June 15, 2025) — A tragic collision between a sedan and a truck Saturday afternoon left three people dead and three others injured, including a toddler, according to the Marysville Police Department.

Incident Details: The fatal crash occurred around 2:15 p.m. on Highway 70 between 24th and Laurellen Roads. Authorities say a sedan carrying five people collided with a truck occupied by a sole driver. When officers arrived at the scene, three individuals, presumably from the sedan, were already deceased.

Three others survived and were transported to the hospital: the truck driver, a toddler, and one additional person. The toddler’s injuries have not been publicly detailed, but the other two victims were hospitalized with severe injuries. No names have been released.

Investigation and Legal Considerations: The exact cause of the crash remains under investigation. Authorities will examine potential contributing factors such as speed, distraction, impairment, and whether either vehicle crossed into oncoming traffic.

Pending the outcome of the investigation, the survivors and families of the deceased may pursue personal injury and wrongful death claims to help address funeral expenses, hospital costs, and long-term impacts such as loss of income or emotional trauma.

My condolences go out to the families grieving the loss of their loved ones and to those recovering from their injuries.
