Roseville, CA (November 16, 2024) – A tragic accident claimed the life of 17-year-old Julian Snyder, a Casa Roble High School football player, on Saturday night in Roseville.
Accident Details: The rollover accident occurred around 11:15 p.m. Unfortunately, Snyder succumbed to his injuries. Roseville Police Department reported that alcohol and drugs are not believed to be contributing factors, and Julian was not alone in the vehicle. The investigation into the crash is ongoing and is expected to take several weeks.
Legal Considerations: As a personal injury attorney, I find that several aspects of this case warrant further examination. In rollover crashes, investigators typically examine factors such as vehicle speed, presence of vehicle defects, road conditions, and whether proper safety measures, like seatbelt use, were followed. While alcohol or drugs do not appear to be involved, investigators need to assess all potential factors to provide a complete understanding of what led to this tragedy.
Snyder’s family may be able to pursue a wrongful death action if evidence suggests negligence played a role in causing the crash.
I offer my sincerest condolences to Julian Snyder’s family, friends, and the Casa Roble High School community. I hope they find comfort in the shared memories of Julian’s life and the support of those who knew him. A memorial fund has been set up to help his family with funeral expenses. Please contribute if you can.
