Corona, CA (April 13, 2025) – A 27-year-old man, Stephen Palacios, was tragically killed early Saturday morning in a head-on collision involving a wrong-way driver on the 91 Freeway in Corona.
Incident Details: The California Highway Patrol reports the crash occurred around 3:20 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of the 91 Freeway near Lincoln Avenue. A Honda sedan traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes collided head-on with a Toyota sedan. Stephen Palacios, who was driving the Toyota, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Honda sustained minor injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
