SAN DIEGO, Calif. — A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle Sunday night in City Heights. According to the San Diego Police Department, the collision occurred around 8:17 p.m. in the 4500 block of Home Avenue.
Incident details indicate that a driver struck the pedestrian, leading to a full closure of Home Avenue as authorities responded. A SIG alert was issued in the area, and the roadway remained closed Sunday night before reopening by Monday morning.
The investigation into the circumstances of the crash is ongoing and is being handled by the San Diego Police Department.
