Salinas, CA (March 1, 2025) – A tragic pedestrian accident claimed the life of 69-year-old Rickey Leneer Smith, who was struck by a vehicle.
Accident Details: According to the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred at 8:47 p.m. while Smith was crossing North Main Street near East Rossi Street. The cause of the crash is still under investigation. Smith suffered fatal injuries and later died. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
