Placer County, CA (July 7, 2025) – A motorcyclist was killed Monday afternoon in a crash on Foresthill Road in unincorporated Placer County, officials confirmed.
Accident Details: The collision occurred around 4:45 p.m. near Drivers Flat Road, east of Foresthill. According to the California Highway Patrol, the motorcyclist veered into the oncoming lane and collided with a van traveling westbound. The rider, whose identity has not been released, was pronounced dead at the scene. The van driver remained on site and cooperated with investigators.
Investigation and Legal Considerations: CHP is leading the investigation into the cause of the crash. Authorities will evaluate whether speed, improper lane use, or other factors contributed.
