Menifee, CA (January 19, 2025) – On Sunday, January 19, 2025, at approximately 7:00 a.m., Lucia Delgado, a 53-year-old resident of San Bernardino, was fatally struck by a vehicle on McCall Boulevard, west of Aspel Road, in Menifee.
Accident Details: Delgado was reportedly in the roadway in the westbound lanes when an unidentified vehicle hit her at an unconfirmed speed. The driver failed to stop, leaving the scene without providing aid or identifying themselves. A passing motorist discovered Delgado lying in the roadway and contacted 911. Paramedics from the Riverside County Fire Department arrived within 20 minutes and pronounced her deceased at the scene.
Investigation: The Menifee Police Department has initiated an active investigation to identify and locate the driver responsible for the hit-and-run. At this time, no description of the vehicle involved is available.
