Bakersfield, CA (March 21, 2025) – A pedestrian was struck and killed early Friday morning on Highway 184, prompting a road closure and investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
Incident Details: The crash occurred just before 6 a.m. when a black Nissan traveling on Highway 184 struck a pedestrian. Several witnesses stopped at the scene to assist and block traffic until emergency personnel arrived. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the victim has not yet been released by the coroner.
