Pedestrian Seriously Injured in San Diego Vehicle Crash

San Diego, CA (June 12, 2025) – A 54-year-old woman was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle early Thursday morning in the Talmadge neighborhood of San Diego.

Incident Details: The crash occurred around 3:15 a.m. in the 4800 block of El Cajon Boulevard when a 2011 Toyota Prius, driven by a 69-year-old man, struck the pedestrian. She sustained serious head trauma and was transported to a hospital, where she was not expected to survive her injuries.

Investigation and Legal Considerations: The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. San Diego police confirmed that alcohol was not a factor.
