Accident Details: At approximately 9 p.m., 30-year-old pedestrian Patrick Daryl Dudek of Redding was struck by a semi-truck. The driver of the 2018 Western Star truck, a 21-year-old from Tulare County, was traveling southbound when the collision occurred. The Shasta County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that Dudek was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident is currently under investigation.
