Pearblossom, CA (August 13, 2025) — The California Highway Patrol is investigating a hit-and-run collision Wednesday afternoon that killed a motorcyclist in the unincorporated Antelope Valley community of Pearblossom.
Incident Details: Authorities say the crash occurred at approximately 1:57 p.m. on Pearblossom Highway (State Route 138) near 141st Street East. Officers arrived to find a motorcyclist in his 50s who had been ejected from his bike. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel at 2:03 p.m. The rider’s identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
