Palo Alto, CA (August 9, 2025) – A suspected drunken driver has been arrested following a fatal collision on Highway 101 in Palo Alto, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Incident Details: The crash occurred near the Embarcadero Road off-ramp when a vehicle traveling southbound collided with another vehicle. One person died at the scene. Authorities have not released the victim’s identity.
Investigation: The California Highway Patrol arrested the driver on suspicion of driving under the influence. The incident remains under investigation.
