Sutter County, CA (April 15, 2025) – Authorities responded to a two-vehicle crash along Highway 99 near Oswald Road early Tuesday morning that resulted in possible major injuries.

A big rig hauling frozen fruit reportedly overturned after the driver fell asleep and lost control while attempting to reenter the roadway. Fortunately, the cargo did not spill. Emergency crews were on scene managing the overturned truck and related road closures, which included detours for northbound traffic.
