Rancho Cordova, CA (June 25, 2025) – One person was killed early Wednesday morning in a crash on Grant Line Road in Rancho Cordova, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office.
Incident Details: Deputies responded to the area of Grant Line Road and Douglas Road around 2:30 a.m. after reports of a single-vehicle crash. First responders found the vehicle off the roadway with one person inside. That individual was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities have not yet released the victim’s name, pending notification of next of kin. No other vehicles were involved, and the road was closed for several hours while deputies conducted their investigation.
