Norfolk, NE (August 5, 2025) — A crash involving a semi-truck and an SUV left one person severely injured Tuesday afternoon on Highway 81, just outside of Norfolk.
Incident Details: The collision occurred around 4 p.m. in the northbound lanes near Industrial Highway. According to initial reports, the SUV collided with the semi and sustained significant damage, coming to rest off the highway with its front left tire detached. One individual from the SUV was airlifted by medical helicopter to a hospital. The semi-truck driver reportedly avoided serious injury.
