Northridge, CA (April 9, 2025) – A motorcyclist was killed, and three other people were hospitalized Wednesday evening following a multi-vehicle collision in the Northridge neighborhood of Los Angeles, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Incident Details: The crash occurred around 6:23 p.m. at the intersection of Tampa Avenue and Lassen Street. Emergency responders arrived to find a Toyota sedan and a Ford SUV had collided head-on, and a motorcyclist had been ejected from their bike. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The rider’s identity has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin.
Three other individuals involved in the crash were transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. All vehicles at the scene sustained significant damage, and the motorcycle was reported to be completely destroyed. The intersection was closed for several hours as authorities conducted their investigation and crews worked to clear the wreckage.
Authorities ask anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has additional information to contact the Los Angeles Police Department.
