Merced, CA (May 3, 2025) – A motorcyclist was killed Saturday evening in Merced after being struck by a suspected drunk driver.
Accident Details: The collision occurred just before 5 p.m. near the intersection of Olive Avenue and G Street. Police say a man, believed to be around 30 years old, was riding a motorcycle when he was hit and killed by a driver who was allegedly under the influence.
The suspect is a woman from Texas, according to the Merced Police Department. Her identity and further details about the circumstances of the crash have not yet been released.
Investigation and Legal Considerations: Driving under the influence impairs a person’s ability to safely operate a vehicle and make sound decisions on the road.
