Pearblossom, CA (August 13, 2025) – A motorcyclist in his 50s was killed Wednesday afternoon in a hit-and-run crash on Pearblossom Highway.
Accident Details: The fatal crash was reported around 1:57 p.m. near 141st Street East. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers arrived to find the rider had been ejected from his motorcycle. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 2:03 p.m.
Authorities said a maroon pickup truck believed to have been involved in the collision fled the scene.
Investigation and Legal Considerations: The top priority will be locating the maroon pickup truck and its driver. Investigators will likely rely on eyewitness accounts, surveillance cameras, and debris left at the scene.
