Rancho Cordova, CA (April 6, 2025) – A collision between a car and motorcycle in Rancho Cordova resulted in the death of a motorcyclist on Sunday evening. Authorities believe the driver of the vehicle involved was under the influence at the time of the crash.

Incident Details: Emergency personnel responded to the 3600 block of Data Drive at approximately 6:30 p.m., according to the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District. When first responders arrived, they found the motorcyclist with life-threatening injuries. The rider was later pronounced dead at the scene.

According to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office, preliminary findings suggest that the collision involved a single motorcycle and a passenger vehicle. The driver of the car sustained only minor injuries but is suspected of driving under the influence at the time of the incident.
