Hood River County, OR (May 19, 2025) – A motorcycle accident on Interstate 84 eastbound near milepost 63 prompted a full roadway closure for over an hour Monday morning. The motorcyclist was hospitalized with unspecified injuries.
Incident Details: According to law enforcement, the crash occurred at approximately 7:47 a.m. near the City Center exit. A Life Flight helicopter was dispatched to transport the injured motorcyclist, and emergency crews closed all eastbound lanes of I-84 during the rescue operation. The Oregon Department of Transportation confirmed the highway reopened around 9:15 a.m.
