Plano, TX (March 1, 2025) – An accident on March 1, 2025, claimed the life of 36-year-old motorcyclist Domin Obed Ullo Calix after a collision with a box truck at the intersection of Legacy Drive and Anniston Trail.
Accident Details: According to the Plano Police Department, the crash occurred around 3:00 p.m. when a box truck traveling eastbound on Legacy Drive turned left onto northbound Anniston Trail. At the same time, Calix was traveling westbound on Legacy Drive and attempted to pass traffic. Calix collided with the passenger side of the truck. Plano Fire-Rescue transported Calix to a nearby hospital, where he died. Authorities confirmed that he was wearing a helmet and that they suspect speed contributed to the crash. The box truck driver was not injured. The Plano Police Department’s Traffic Unit is investigating the incident.
