The victim was identified as 19-year-old Miguel Angel Zuniga of Valley Center.
Incident Overview: According to authorities, Zuniga was involved in a fatal collision while making a left turn from West Tribal Road onto Valley Center Road. The incident occurred shortly before 8:30 p.m. when his Toyota Camry was struck by a southbound Ford Expedition. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Ford Expedition was arrested at the scene on suspicion of DUI and was subsequently booked into the Vista Detention Facility.
