San Bernardino County, CA (August 2, 2024) – On Friday, August 2, 2024, Joanna Gutierrez, a 24-year-old woman from Rialto, tragically lost her life in a solo-car crash on Lytle Creek Road in San Bernardino County.
Accident Details: The accident occurred around 10:20 p.m. near Glen Helen Parkway. Gutierrez was driving an Acura ILX southbound on Lytle Creek Road when, for reasons still under investigation, the vehicle veered off the road onto a dirt shoulder. The car then crossed back into the northbound lane before crashing into a dirt and rock embankment. The impact caused the Acura to roll over several times before coming to rest on its driver’s side.
