Hesperia, CA (June 15, 2025) — A multi-vehicle crash on the southbound I-15 freeway near Joshua Street in Hesperia sent emergency responders to the scene Sunday afternoon, where an infant and several children were reportedly involved.
Incident Details: The crash occurred around 3:45 p.m. and involved a white Infiniti sedan and a white GMC pickup truck. According to the California Highway Patrol, the Infiniti sustained significant front-end damage after colliding with the GMC, which was transporting a 5-month-old infant and several other children.
Emergency medical aid was requested for the infant, and one of the drivers reported dizziness following what he described as being “hit hard.”
Investigation and Legal Considerations: CHP’s Barstow Division is leading the investigation into what caused the crash. Critical factors will include assessing whether any driver was speeding, distracted, or otherwise negligent behind the wheel.
Depending on the investigation’s findings, the injured children’s families could pursue personal injury claims for medical expenses, pain and suffering, and parental loss of income due to caretaking needs.
My thoughts are with the young children and families affected by this crash.
