Tarzana, CA (February 11, 2025) – On Tuesday morning, a man in his 60s was critically injured in a hit-and-run collision.
Accident Details: The incident occurred at the intersection of Reseda Boulevard and Clark Street around 9:25 a.m. The man was walking in a marked crosswalk when he was hit. Los Angeles police determined that a black Ford F-150 traveling southbound on Reseda Boulevard turned left onto Clark Street and struck the pedestrian. The driver failed to stop and render aid. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
Investigation: Authorities are actively investigating the crash, and the city is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the suspect’s arrest and conviction. Witnesses described the driver as a man last seen wearing a baseball cap, a blue jacket, and dark-colored pants. Anyone with information about the suspect or vehicle involved is urged to contact
Legal Considerations: As a personal injury attorney, I find that several aspects of this case warrant further examination. The city’s reward program encourages community members to come forward with information, helping law enforcement identify and hold hit-and-run drivers accountable. Investigators will continue to review surveillance footage, seek witness statements, and examine the accident scene.
Unfortunately, hit-and-run crashes remain a persistent issue in the Los Angeles area. If a pedestrian is injured due to another’s negligence, they may have grounds to file a personal injury claim.
I extend my sincere hopes for the victim’s recovery and support to his loved ones.
