Incident Details: The fatal collision occurred around 1:35 a.m. near East Vernon Avenue and South Alameda Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. The pedestrian, identified by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner as Rahman, was crossing the street when a southbound black pickup truck struck him.
