Sand Lake, MI (July 25, 2025) – A crash involving a car and a semi truck on US-131 near Sand Lake claimed the life of one person Friday morning.
Accident Details: According to Michigan State Police, the crash occurred around 4:30 a.m. near 22 Mile Road in the northbound lanes. The car was struck by the semi truck, and the driver of the car died from their injuries.
The name of the victim has not been released. The truck driver was not hurt.
