Glenn County, CA (November 5, 2023) – One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash Sunday morning on a rural stretch of road near Richvale, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Accident Details: The collision occurred around 5:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 5, along Midway near the Butte-Glenn County line. A Ford pickup was traveling northbound on Midway when it collided with a Toyota sedan heading south. Responding officers arrived to find the Toyota with major front-end damage and the Ford off the roadway.
One person inside the Toyota was pronounced dead at the scene. Additional occupants were treated for injuries, though the extent has not been released. The driver of the Ford remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
