Turlock, CA (August 9, 2024) – On Friday, August 9, 2024, a tragic traffic collision occurred around 10:45 a.m. at the intersection of Harding Avenue and Golf Road near Turlock, resulting in the death of 27-year-old Tori (William) Keith from Modesto.
Accident Details and Ongoing Investigation: According to the California Highway Patrol, Keith was traveling eastbound on Harding Avenue in a Honda sedan. As she reached the intersection with Golf Road, she stopped at a stop sign and then accelerated into the path of a southbound Chevrolet driven by a 19-year-old Turlock resident. The Chevrolet, which had the right of way and was not required to stop, broadsided Keith’s vehicle. Keith was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Chevrolet was uninjured.
The preliminary investigation revealed that Keith was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the collision.
