Los Angeles, CA (July 6, 2025) – Emerson Noel Escobar Gonzalez, 25, was killed Sunday night in a hit-and-run crash involving multiple vehicles in the Vermont Vista neighborhood of South Los Angeles.

Accident Details: The fatal collision occurred around 9:15 p.m. in the 450 block of West 91st Street, where first responders found four vehicles involved. One male victim was trapped in the wreckage and was pronounced dead at the scene. He was later identified as Emerson Noel Escobar Gonzalez by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner. According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, two women reportedly fled the scene on foot following a physical altercation at or immediately after the time of the crash.

Investigation and Legal Considerations: The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision and the subsequent flight of the involved individuals.
