Chambers County, AL (July 6, 2025) – A South Carolina woman, Elizabeth Melton, was killed Sunday in a collision involving a tractor-trailer in East Alabama, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
Accident Details: The crash happened on U.S. Highway 431 near the town of Fredonia. Elizabeth Melton was driving a Nissan Altima when her vehicle collided with a tractor-trailer. She was pronounced dead at the scene. No additional injuries were reported.
