TURLOCK, CA (July 10, 2025) – A 22-year-old man from Modesto, identified as Elijah Bland, died late Wednesday night in a two-vehicle crash near California State University, Stanislaus, according to the Turlock Police Department.
Accident Details: The collision occurred around 11:30 p.m. at the intersection of Geer Road and East Christoffersen Parkway. When officers arrived at the scene, they found Elijah Bland unresponsive and pinned inside his vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other driver involved in the crash, a woman whose name has not been released, was transported to the hospital with major injuries. Police say she is expected to survive.
Authorities have not yet released details on what caused the crash.
