Victorville, CA (May 2, 2025) – A serious collision involving a semi-truck and a passenger sedan on Friday afternoon left one driver critically injured and prompted a significant emergency response on Highway 395.
Accident Details: The crash occurred at approximately 1:08 p.m. near Bear Valley Road. According to reports, a white Nissan sedan became lodged underneath the trailer of a flatbed semi-truck belonging to Equizabal Trucking.
When firefighters and police arrived on the scene, they found the driver trapped inside the severely damaged vehicle. Emergency crews worked quickly to extricate the driver before transporting them by ambulance to St. Mary’s Medical Center. The driver’s identity has not yet been released, but they are reported to be in critical condition.
Investigation and Legal Considerations: When a crash like this occurs, investigators will need to look at several critical pieces of evidence to determine who may be at fault, such as skid marks and physical damage to both vehicles; surveillance or dashcam footage from surrounding vehicles or businesses; witness statements; and truck maintenance logs and the driver’s records.
