Dallas, TX (August 26, 2025) – A 26-year-old man, Carlos Campos, suffered a traumatic injury in a semi-truck crash in Dallas earlier this week.
Accident Details: According to investigators, Campos was driving his SUV in North Dallas when an 18-wheeler veered into his lane and struck his vehicle. The violent collision severed part of his left arm. The truck then fled the scene, and authorities are continuing to search for the driver involved.
Campos’ family confirmed that he faces a long recovery ahead after the catastrophic injury. Officials said the semi bore markings with a Dallas Cowboys star logo, though ownership and responsibility remain under investigation.
Investigation: The Dallas Police Department is investigating the crash as a hit-and-run. Detectives are working to identify the driver and confirm the trucking company involved. Fault is believed to rest with the semi-truck driver, but no arrests have been made.
I extend my deepest sympathy to Carlos Campos and his family as he recovers from this devastating accident.
