Driver Killed, Teen Hospitalized in Concord Crash
Concord, CA (May 21, 2025) – A tragic two-vehicle crash in Concord on Tuesday evening has left one woman dead and two others injured, including a teenage boy.
Incident Details: Authorities responded around 5:25 p.m. to the intersection of Kirker Pass Road and Hess Road. A 26-year-old woman driving a Ford Fusion, with a 14-year-old boy in the passenger seat, attempted to turn left onto Kirker Pass Road and collided with a northbound Toyota Sienna. The impact killed the Ford driver at the scene. The teenage passenger was airlifted to a hospital with major injuries. The Toyota driver sustained minor injuries and was transported by ambulance.
Investigation and Legal Considerations: The California Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. At this time, impaired driving has been ruled out, but further analysis of the circumstances leading to the collision is ongoing. No identities have been released pending family notifications.
