Incident Details: The collision occurred on Thursday, May 16, near the Cold Spring Bridge on Highway 154. According to emergency responders, 22-year-old Carly Grace Howard was driving when her vehicle was struck head-on by an oncoming car. Howard was critically injured and airlifted to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital. Despite intensive medical care, her family shared on May 20 that she had been removed from life support and passed away.
