Camp Pendleton, CA (June 8, 2025) – A fatal collision on the southbound side of Interstate 5 near Las Pulgas Road led to significant traffic delays on Saturday afternoon.
Incident Details: According to the California Highway Patrol and Caltrans San Diego, the crash occurred around 12:45 p.m., prompting the closure of multiple southbound lanes. Only one lane remained open for several hours, leading to delays of over two hours for drivers in the area. By just before 4 p.m., Caltrans confirmed that all lanes had been reopened.
